    Hamartomatous polyp of the faucial tonsil is a rare condition. It has been variously named. Here we present a case of hamartomatous polyp of the tonsil occurring in a 35-year-old lady, who referred with dysphagia and sore throat. Physical examination showed a left tonsillar pedunculated polyp.
